Description

Trail 7 links the campground to the main Beauty Bay Loop. It is generally ridden from the top down, ending at the campground. The upper section is similar to trail 257, fast singletrack with some rocks and roots thrown in.

Once you reach the tight right-hand switchback (approximately 1/2 way down to campground) you've arrived at the technical section. Bring a riding partner along! Most of the trail is ride-able, but there are plenty of sections with exposure. Expect to see narrow trail, lots of rocks, and some steep drop-offs to the side. Don't be afraid to walk some sections.

Don't miss the scenic lake overlook partway down!

Be aware of hikers in the summer months, it is popular since it links up to the campground at the bottom.
