Need to Know

This trail is close to the main Mountwood Park Marina parking areas.

Description

The Beginner C trail segment of the NICA beginner loop starts just past the Beginner B terminus as it briefly merges with the Walter Taitt Trail. Masterfully designed and exactingly hand built by Dwight Cartmel and his cadre of tenacious volunteers using IMBA standards, this trail has truly awesome beginner flow, switchbacks and beginner-friendly features that are a delight to both behold and ride! (This is as close to machine-built trail as hand-built trail gets!)

Often used by the local NICA team for practice, Beginner C finishes at the Lake Trail near the Mountwood Park marina parking lot entrance at a cool area with skills features. Beginner C also has nice views overlooking Mountwood Lake. Don't miss this one!
