This trail isn't one you'd drive to just to ride it by itself. But if you're coming from East Boulder and want to ride over to Marshall Mesa, this is a great segment of trail to help you do that mostly on dirt.

The trail winds through open space along Cherryvale road, just east of the East Boulder Recreation Center, then crosses under South Boulder road to continue South. It then winds through more open space, under Highway 36, over a well-constructed bridge, and ends at Marshall Road, which is a quiet bike-friendly neighborhood connecting easily to the Marshall Mesa trailhead.
